Summary
Yu Zhao (赵瑜) holds a BA in English Language and Linguistics from Northwest University and an MSc in Education Studies from the University of Edinburgh. She was awarded Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2024.
She is currently a Teaching Fellow in the School of Education, Languages and Linguistics at the University of Portsmouth. She serves as the Course Leader for the Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) Programme and the Coordinator for Post‑GCSE Mandarin Modules. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, she contributes to teaching across a range of undergraduate modules and provides support as a personal tutor and Research Project tutor.
