Zaynab Lamoyero

Zaynab Lamoyero is a Teaching Fellow in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics at the University of Portsmouth. She teaches on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supporting modules such as Business Information System Security, Digital Forensics, Cryptography, and Security Management. Alongside her teaching, she supervises research projects and enjoys creating learning materials that are practical, engaging, and rooted in real-world practice.

Her interests focus on the human side of cybersecurity, particularly cyber deception and social engineering. She is passionate about raising awareness in creative ways that strengthen resilience and help people feel confident in tackling security challenges. With a background in Criminology and experience in the financial sector, Zaynab brings a broad perspective to her teaching and is committed to empowering students, connecting technology with society, and inspiring the next generation of cyber professionals.
