Project Details
Description
The project is a KTP for £189,968 funded by Innovate UK (£94,984) and TGA Industries (£94,984). The KTP will create a new family of intelligent sensors. That requires new and novel development and testing techniques.
Layperson's description
The KTP will create a new family of intelligent sensors. That requires new and novel development and testing techniques. New intelligent level and pressure sensors with analogue signal processing and controllers will be created to optimize their performance and reliability. Sensors will provide fault analysis and diagnostics and plug into the Internet of Things.
This will be achieved thorugh:
1 Examining feasibility + market review. 2 Laboratory scale development.
3 Case Studies.
4 Creating new experimental sensor models. 5 Investigating intelligent controllers. 6 Analogue Control methodology. 7 Analogue circuit design and evaluation. 8 Conference attendance and workshops. 9 Sustainability assessment.10 Dissemination of knowledge.
