    The purpose of the literature review is to explore and assess the standard of dental healthcare provided to underserved communities in Portsmouth. The research endeavours to identify the factors that facilitate or hinder the delivery of quality care and, subsequently, their influence on the health outcomes of the Portsmouth community. This project is in alignment with the ARC Healthy Communities theme and is consistent with the research strategy of the UoP Dental Academy.
