Description
The AI Leadership Skills Bootcamp is a blended training programme lasting up to 16 weeks with 100 hours of Guided Learning Hours (GLH) designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, data science, and AI project management.
This programme is being delivered by staff members from both BaL and TEC. The programme targets business leaders and managers, helping them strategically implement AI within their operations while increasing awareness of ethical considerations. Participants will gain hands-on experience with AI tools and frameworks, understand the impact of AI on businesses, and develop the ability to identify and implement AI solutions effectively. Additionally, the bootcamp emphasises inclusive recruitment and support, ensuring a diverse range of participants and trainers, and fostering an inclusive AI community. Funded by Portsmouth City Council.
As CoI I (Joe Sekhon,) lead on the School of Law’s contribution to this programme; specifically one of its key modules “Management of AI, Legal and Ethical Issues.” This module encompasses my personal IP contribution as well as the contribution of law colleagues with an expertise in data protection and privacy law.
