    Description

    Apparatus comprises 3d anaglyph images (displayed as 24"x20" pigment prints) made from stereoscopic photographs of human anatomy from the Edinburgh Stereoscopic Atlas of Anatomy (1906). For best results view through anaglyph 3D glasses. Cyan right, magenta left. The title Apparatus refers to both the photographic and the bodily apparatus, the latter being simultaneously pictured and engaged in the process of viewing.

    A photographic research project incorporating photographic practice as a means to visualise the apparatus of photography in relation to the body and in particular the body of the observer.
