This research adopts an action research approach to explore how pedagogical design can support students’ transition from Level 3 (further education or equivalent) to Level 4 (the first year of undergraduate study). The study investigates how teaching, assessment, and feedback practices can be intentionally structured to scaffold students’ development as independent, confident learners.
