The aim of this project was to research and write a book and possibly curate an exhibition on the recent history of artistic engagements with brain science in Britain.
Key findings
The project hypothesizes that artists in UK have been leaders and innovators in this field, constituting a body of aesthetically compelling and philosophically inquisitive artwork and an artistic movement that has had international impact.
