Co-creation of tailored support for substance abuse in neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals

Project Details

Description

Previous research has explored links between broader substance use behavior and the intersections of gender, race/ethnicity, and/or sexual orientation (e.g., Schuler et al., 2020). However, to our knowledge, intersecting identities of being neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ has not been studied before. Therefore, the current project aims to understand the experiences of neuroqueer individuals in order to co-create more inclusive, individually-tailored, and effective intervention programs for this population only.
