Collaboration with University of Macau

In early 2023, I initiated a collaborative dialogue between the University of Portsmouth and the University of Macau. Three tangible outcomes materialized: 1) An institutional visit by UoP colleagues in June 2023; 2) a UoM between UoP and UoM and UoM's agreement to receive UoP students and recent graduates under the Turing Scheme; and 3) exploration of further teaching and research collaboration between UoP and UoM. My initial corresponding partner was Professor Bin Yang, Head of Department of History, UoM. Since he departed from UoM, Professor Tianshu Zhu has been my contact at the UoM.
