Description
CommonSensing aimed to support Fiji, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands to achieve climate resilience and sustainable development using innovative solutions. The project main goals were:
Improve risk management of climate change, disaster risk reduction and food security;
Strengthen the capacity to access climate finance and climate funds;
Enhance national and regional climate action policy.

Key findings
Several initiatives took place during the project. UoP contribution included the development of an online Remote Sensing course for managers on the islands as well as vulnerability mapping disseminated to the public through a resilience to climate change app.
