Description

The University has secured £11,488.70 to fund an internship which focuses on the self-management of multiple long-term conditions among people living with dementia. The intern will conduct research focused on exploring the self-management process from the perspectives of people living with dementia and carers; support patient and public engagement activities; and contribute to the development of research proposals that address key issues in self-management of multiple long-term conditions in dementia. Alongside these research activities, the intern will also be able to carry out activities of personal and professional development, as well as attend conferences and/or training sessions. The internship will be based in the Faculty of Science and Health and supervised by Dr Nuno Tavares.
