An exploratory research period combining mixed reality technology and live performance to inform new ways of engaging audiences with theatre. The process of creation will feed into the overall research dissemination by Goldsmith's University i2 Media team, NESTA, and Innovate UK.

An fellowship with the RSC and Magic Leap to push the boundaries of performance making using digital technologies.

Key findings

The outcome of this research has lead to an immersive theatre performance. tHIS practise based research has informed new producing models, budgets required to make such work and possible distribution platforms for live performance using XR technology (VR/AR/MR/5G)
