Diverse Degree Apprentices

Research within the Faculty of Technology into the lack of representation of minoritised ethnicity students on our degree apprenticeship programmes. This follows a reported national trend where degree apprentices on STEM courses tend to be from more advantaged backgrounds. The project has undertaken open panel fact finding events, a survey of degree apprenticeship employers and is developing a set of interventions that will be evaluated through the project.
