Project Details

Description

The construction industry has long been associated with high levels of alcohol consumption among workers, with various studies highlighting the prevalence of risky drinking patterns in this sector. However, there remains a critical gap in understanding how the design and management of large-scale construction sites may influence, exacerbate, or mitigate these behaviours and associated harms.

This project aims to conduct a systematic literature review to identify and examine the link between risky drinking behaviours, alcohol-related harm, and approaches that on construction companies have taken to address these harms.
