Exploratory research to examine the health impacts of scams and fraud and the current knowledge and systems in the police and partner agencies for targeting and delivering victim support services

Professor Mark Button has been approached by the Police Foundation in order to support a bid being proposed to the National Institute for Health Research.

UoP research team, consisting of Professor Button and Dr Meenaghan, undertook the following parts of the project:

•Helped in the design of research tools.
•Assisted with securing ethical approval for the research.
•Offered assistance with the write-up of the research, with particular reference to academic journals.
