Description
This Wellcome Trust funded project (£30,000). brought thirty transgender and intersex people together to participate in a series of practical life-drawing workshops in London. The models posing also identified as transgender or as having an intersex condition. The project gave its participants the opportunity to create a significant body of work, to issue new representations of their own bodies, to take a more holistic view of the person and the wider social and cultural references in which they sit.
