Project Details
Description
In this project, our aim is to identify the research priorities of a diverse range of autistic people, family members, and autism professionals across the globe. This is motivated by the fact that most existing studies have primarily focused on the UK and US, with the assumption that these findings reflect global preferences. However, research priorities likely differ across countries due to variations in daily living, access to support, and attitudes towards autism, across cultures. By capturing the priorities of diverse autism communities across various cultural contexts, we will help to ensure that research is tailored to, and has a meaningful benefit for, the populations it aims to serve, ultimately improving quality of life.
