This project supports a successful small project tender awarded at a fixed price for the AHRC’s Towards a National Collection (TaNC) programme directorate. TaNC programme is taking the first steps towards creating a UK digital collections infrastructure by dissolving barriers between different collections – opening UK heritage to the world.
This project investigates the evolving landscape of digital heritage resources, specifically focusing on the requirements of academic users for a prospective UK-wide Heritage Collections Digital Infrastructure. As digital resources reshape scholarly work, particularly in the cultural heritage domain, this project aims to explore user needs and requirements, ensuring that a future national digital collections infrastructure aligns with their needs.
