Humans in Extremes - Podcast
Layperson's description
Outreach activity to promote the study of physiology in extreme environments.
The podcasts are produced to introduce the topic area of Extreme Environments and the study of human physiology. The topics range from adventurers competing in marathons in the desert, to long-distance swimmers, to medics supporting expeditions at altitude. The podcasts are available on the University website and also on the University's sound could account. The aim is to produce 4-5 podcasts each year to build on the library of activities that are included. The intention is to highlight the range of activities and applications that the staff working within the Extreme Environments Laboratory undertake.
