Project Details
Description
Images in Practice is a academic research network that seeks to bring together practice-based PhD research in a format that can be viewed as a whole easily online. We are exploring ways that all elements of practice-based study can be disseminated - as a whole entity.
Currently it seems that research at this level is often fractured into bits after completion with either the essay being made available as a PDF but no practice included, or the practice is exhibited online and the essay forgotten.
This network is about exploring existing public domain technologies such as blogs, websites, pdf viewers and animated gifs. We are looking for new ways to celebrate practice-based research.
This site currently has a limited number of projects that act as examples as to what is possible
