Description
Collaborations with robot researchers and developers on intelligent sensing and analysis in mobile robots for health and social care focus on the following key areas: 1. Inclusion of disadvantaged groups in mobile robot applications, with a focus on those with compromised motor-cognitive function and coordination. 2. A better understanding of user intentions for disadvantaged groups, emphasising an individual-dependent approach. 3. Enhanced coexistence of humans and mobile robots, fostering natural interaction for long-term practical use and improved acceptance.
