Description
KE project manager working with Royal Navy and Royal Marine Charity (RNRMC) on sustainable product development for fundraising merchandise. Upcycling of damaged liferaft and obsolete Naval equipmet to create a range of bags to raise funds for the Royal Naval and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC).
Key findings
Katherine-Jayne Watts was employed as Research Assistant to create and prototype range of designs for bag and luggage using waste materials. These prototypes were taken forward into further development and manufacture by Gosport based Oarsome Chance. The final project won several awards for sustainability.
