In this project, I examine the role of civil society organizations in claim-making processes. This research builds on my long-term interest and expertise in social memory studies. The project examines how civil society organisations representing marginal groups and fringe stakeholders can develop mnemonic assets (these are cultural artefacts that represent an accumulation of value arising from mnemonic labour) to support claim-making processes and induce responsible behaviour.
