Phase 2: Machine Learning Support to Team Based Decision Making

Project Details

Description

Modern Intelligence Analysis is complicated by the vast amount of data that is gathered by today's sensors and other assets. The situation is further complicated when considering team based decision making. Polaris have previously demonstrated a low TRL Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) Tool developed for a SIGINT context that enabled real time analysis of dynamic data that increased the rate at which Situational Awareness was developed. This proposal seeks to enhance this tool to support group based decision makers, automate keyword identification, move to Paragraph Processing and enable additional sources of data to be assessed.

Key findings

This project led to the design and implementation of an enhanced version of Polaris' existing low TRL Dominance-based Rough Set Approach (DRSA) Tool (DRSA-T) to incorporate group based decision making in Intelligence Analysis context.
