Description

The Royal Navy’s Strategic Studies Centre (RNSSC) has commissioned Matthew Heaslip to prepare and deliver a one-day conference based on a theme of ‘'Coastal Security and Communities'’ . The conference took place at the Square Tower in Portsmouth, a symbolic and impressive location that highlights the connection between the Royal Navy, University of Portsmouth (UoP) and civic partners.

Key findings

The conference highlighted UoP expertise, drawing on academics from multiple faculties and schools to present on themed panels relevant to the overarching theme of the conference.
