Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults: Legislative and contextual frameworks

This four hour CPD workshop is designed for Sixth Form Students to provide them with an overview of the legislative frameworks that enshrine and make possible the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults in England. It will also consider the practice of contextual safeguarding within those legal bounds enabling learners to consider how safeguarding practitioners can use their professional as well as legal understandings to a situation in best support of the children or vulnerable adults in the care.
