Project Details
Description
This KTP will co-develop with GDS an end-to-end, automated workflow that turns raw soil element test data (triaxial, oedometer, DSS, resonant column) stored in lab databases into accurate, design-ready parameters and a clear, audit-proof technical report, all generated automatically. We will build: (1) a secure data/metadata pipeline from GDS rigs and LIMS into a standardised schema with auto-QC, sensor health checks, and outlier detection; (2) algorithms to derive soil properties (e.g., strength, stiffness, compressibility, cyclic degradation) with uncertainty quantification and explainable diagnostics (plots, residuals, sensitivity); and (3) a one-click standards-aligned report (Eurocode/BS/ICE language) that explains the test setup, shows checks, interprets results, and maps properties to design inputs.
