Funding to support Choreographer Paul Michael Henry to research and develop, SHRIMP DANCE a new performance work. SHRIMP DANCE deals with mental health, models of sanity under consumer capitalism, and ecological crisis. It’s based on scientific research linking the behaviour of shrimp to human consumption of anti-depressants. The project is led by Paul Michael Henry and Stephanie Katie Hunter with contributions from Alessandra Campoli, Misty Hanna, Alex Mackay, Laura Gonzalez and Dr. Alex Ford.
