Solving the problem of failed spinal anaesthesia: fluid dynamics of spinal injections and a new spinal needle design

The research project aims to optimise the design of a new spinal needle. The proposed design will enhance the quantity of the drug delivered inside the cerebral spinal fluid when there is a partial insertion of the needle eye. This will benefit patient health and management.
