Space Placement in Industry: Virtual Reality

Context:
The SCCoE has received additional UK Space Agency (UKSA) capital expenditure to launch ‘Space Enterprise Labs’ at the Technopole, a concept designed to promote and enhance remote collaboration. As part of this investment, the centre will be receiving VR equipment as a medium to demonstrate and showcase space-related technologies, opportunities and case studies.

Idea:
The SCCoE is seeking to develop space-related immersive (e.g. VR, AR) concept demonstration content, which can be used and distributed locally, regionally and nationally using ‘Space Enterprise Labs’, thereby educating and inspiring many across the UK space ecosystem. Our intention is to engage creative and technically skilled students looking to collaborate with the rapidly growing space sector via student placements.
