Project Details
Description
The Sprint would have a student implement an Unreal Engine VR Framework (Targeting Meta Quest 2 and PC) featuring key user interactable and narrative enabling elements to support a larger project around Portsmouth City Library’s Conan Doyle Archive collection, and the enabling of ‘Detectives’ (archivists with special needs).
A working demonstration of interacting (picking up and viewing) objects in a scene, triggering narrative audio sequences, navigating a space (teleporting), and transitioning from one scene to another via doorways. A working prototype, along with all source code and supporting materials would constitute the complete deliverable.
