Project Details
Description
This project is part of a larger mixed-media animation and mixed-reality research project. It will be used to explore potential technical approaches for production. Combining traditional handmade maquettes, CG environments and state-of-the-art virtual production, we will explore how a 3D environment model can be presented, distorted and destroyed. This is an Innovation project experimenting with mixed-media animation, mixed-reality and 3D destruction in an entirely new way
- both technically and aesthetically.
The student(s) will run different tests on the organic destruction of the 3D model and bring them into Unreal to be tested with the CCIXR Smart Stage, VR, Motion-Capture and VP pipeline. We believe this exploration should take about 2 weeks.
