Submarine Heritage: A Prototype for Heritage Collections Digital Navigation and Preservation

In collaboration with Historic England, Nautical Archaeology Society and National Museum of the Royal Navy (Represented by the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Gosport), the project aims to develop a working digital/interactive prototype that connect and enable the navigation of the Submarines Holland 1 – 5 archives and collections. The project aims to investigate the role of co-creation and immersive experiences in contributing to the preservation and accessibility of heritage collections (Submarines Holland 1-5). The outputs will be displayed in the Submarine Museum in Gosport and tested with local communities and visitors in the museum.
