    The aim of the project is to investigate the impact of extreme environmental conditions on the ability of the RAF to undertake the physically demanding aspects of their job. This includes hot and dry or hot and humid environments, with recommendations made for how to amend the REF Physically Employment Standard (PES) to ensure personnel are physically capable of performing their job while on operation.
