Project Details
Description
This project will examine the experiences and support needs of siblings of missing persons in the UK and Australia. The aim is to develop tools for practical and emotional support for siblings as well as training material for professionals, given the focus so far has been almost exclusively on the parent/child/partner of the missing person. The study will use online surveys as well as semi-structured interviews with adult siblings. To disseminate findings the research team will create webinars and e-resources for the benefit of siblings and family members as well as practitioners supporting them.
