The role of pain in the recovery from amputation and prosthesis use

    Project Details

    Description

Rehabilitation following lower limb amputation is a multifaceted and prolonged process. The fitting of a prosthesis and successful adaptation to limb loss is, for many individuals, one of the final stages of that process. It is critical that barriers to prosthetic adaptation are identified and addressed as soon as possible to support rehabilitation.
