TRIF Fellowship

My research to date has focused on storytelling, narratology and environmental forecasting and forms the basis of this new programme of research designed to explore the cultural representations, applications and impacts of artificial intelligence. Aligning with the University’s Future & Emerging Technologies and Sustainability and Environment themes, a core part of this research will be to interrogate the way climate futures are mapped, imagined and narrated, as well as to engage with topical debates centred around the role of artificial intelligence and the manufacture of culture. Positioning itself at the intersection of art and science and technology and culture, this project will promote interdisciplinary relations between emerging and future technologies academics and arts and humanities scholars.
