Project Details

Description

My research to date has focussed on understanding nutrient dynamics within the marine environment. I have been particularly interested in how the biological community are maintained in nutrient limited environments. The proposed future direction of my research will address impacts of climate change on
oceanic ecosystems and nutrient resources. This vital research will feed directly in to the University’s Sustainability and Environment theme. The interdisciplinary nature of this research will bring together marine chemists, biologists and modellers to answer urgent questions about how complex ecosystems and
nutrient biogeochemistry are going to respond to climate change. This research will lead to high quality academic outputs of global significance.
