Project Details
Description
The project directly relates to EDTech Priority Vertical and several Research Priorities by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science.
Since the beginning of the war most educational institutions, such as universities and schools, in Ukraine had to move their classes into an online format. It is likely that even after the war there will be a need to conduct some classes online or in a hybrid mode.
Though online format is not new and was actively used during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to some limited evidence, online delivery proved to be less engaging and more demanding, both for students and teachers.
The suggested project will aim to assess the effectiveness of interactive polling for revision purposes. There is some limited evidence that usage of interactive polling platforms substantially increases engagement of students and receives positive feedback from teachers, but no significant studies have been conducted in relation to student performance, in particular for revision purposes.
