Description

This was a 2 week Professional Development course for Teaching methodology and research writing focusing on:

● English for Academic Purposes and Personal language
improvement,
● Teaching Language skills through new approaches and methods,
● Language and technology,
● Material design and adaptation for teaching foreign languages,
● Elements of writing and editing academic/scientific articles on
scopus indexed journals for improving professionals' progress in
science,
● Guidelines to conduct a research project properly and efficiently,
especially for scientific research,
● Learn strategies to avoid plagiarism and academic dishonesty such
as using APA/MLA citation styles preparing a bibliography
(references list), etc.


There were 3 strands of the programme that ran simultaneously:

1. English Language Teaching (ELT) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) led by Peter Watkins
