Versorgungskette

    Project Details

    Description

The project initially investigated the modelling of reverse supply chains and then moved on to measure the performance of reverse supply chains. The improvement of computing in business intelligence was considered, especially providing some improvement by measuring the performance of reverse supply chains.

The following were modelled in detail:

    - Performance of reverse supply chains in a carpet manufacturer.
    - Performance of reverse supply chains in a computer hardware company

As part of this project, Maulida Butar Butar completed her PhD in 2016 after studying measuring performance in reverse supply chains.

    Key findings

Performance of reverse supply chains can be modelled.
Reverse supply chains in different types of company and market area behave differently (for example a carpets or a computer hardware).
Green computing in business intelligence can be improved by measuring performance of reverse supply chains.
