Wessex Connected Care - Scoping Study

The ability to access care records by any front line health or social care staff member and to have access to all relevant information was set out as a prospectus aim - with an expected benefit to patients, to the system and with planning and research benefits that would follow. members saw the AHSN as having a key co-coordinating and leadership role. A scoping study was agreed by the Boards in May 2014 to assess the options for AHSN involvement. A contract was signed with the University of Portsmouth in July 2014 to conduct the scoping study
