X-ray biomechanical imaging and digital volume correlation of bone: from osteoregeneration to structure

Project Details

Description

Digital volume correlation (DVC) technology applied to high-resolution X-ray Computed Tomography (XCT) represent a powerful tool to investigate bone tissue mechanics. The project will mainly focus on the investigation of bone-biomaterial constructs in vivo, following implantation of novel osteoregenerative biomaterials.
