Abstract
This article outlines some methodological issues related to seven years of experimental workshops on heritage preservation at Devetaki plateau in Bulgaria. A series of art, architecture and restoration activities is outlined and the theoretical basis for the practices is summarised. It is an attempt to evaluate some of the most successful activities and offer an overview for the lessons to be learned from them.
