At present, marine shellfish is playing a dominant role in mariculture in China. In addition to the continuous increase of production, the improvement of breeding techniques, the stable distribution of production areas and the increasingly rich variety structure, the aquaculture area of Marine shellfish in China is gradually shrinking, and the exploitation of marine shellfish aquaculture in China is still in the stage of diminishing returns to scale. In order to realize the high-quality development of the mariner shellfish aquaculture, it is necessary to improve the level of breeding, strengthen the training of shellfish breeding skills, deepen the processing of marine shellfish, improve the level of cold chain logistics, and support the construction of regional brands and the e-commerce operation in future.
