Abstract

Focal points

Portsmouth was the pathfinder site for the HLP programme with the engagement of 36 community pharmacies within the region. Stakeholders’ perspectives have been recorded to evaluate the impact of this initiative.

Staff value HLP for its capacity to enrich staff role and development so as to support and motivate more effective service provision.

The HLP project has demonstrated a positive effect on staff and their performance. This study also highlights areas that require better management so as to further improve the impact of the HLP project.
