Abstract
This exhibition presented a history of the cinema usherette through the display of archival photographs, objects and related epiphenomena. It addresses both her role and, the lack of such studies within the academic framework of exhibition practice and cinema history. The exhibition complements the research project that Eva Balogh is working on.
