    Abstract

    This exhibition presented a selection of photographs and objects, which shows the significance of the cinema usherette to the pleasure of going to the movies during the 1920s-1960s. The exhibition accompanied a screening of The Good Fairy (1935, dir. Wyler, W), which was shown as part of the Beyond the Banana Skin comedy event (funded by South East film Hub). The film was introduced by Eva Balogh.
