    Abstract

Different types of System behaviour can be illustrated using simple and cheap physical modeis. By using the idea of a landscape of System behaviour the modeis can be used to illustrate complex concepts in a familiar context. Use of these models is restricted by the need for rapid feedback from students to ensure that the concept rather than the model is the focus of understanding.
